• Wineries

You are in the Alexander Valley and we have Robert Young winery as a neighbor which is a 20 minute walk and has amazing views over the valley. For days out, Dry Creek Road starts a few miles west, but you are also well placed to explore everything in Sonoma and Napa. We love the picnics at Lambert Bridge, and taking a bottle and a few nibbles out to the olive grove at Rafanelli. Always interested in hearing about other peoples favorites though so please share.

  • Restaurants

The restaurant scene is vibrant and ever changing. We love The Matheson in Healdsburg for its vibey scene and rooftop bar and dining. Diavolo is our favorite in Geyserville but people also love the classic Italian Catelli’s. The Montage is only 3 miles away and has a lovely courtyard for lunch and evening dining. Check out your usual restaurant guides and let us know your favorites and we’ll add them here.

  • Cycling and E-Bikes

Sonoma is a beautiful place to go road biking and has incredible routes. Alternatively an E-bike is a fun way to cruise between the vineyards, bring your own or there are plenty of options to hire in Healdsburg.

  • Spa Days

We are only 16 miles to Calistoga for a day at Indian Springs or The Solage. The Montage is a new 5 star hotel only 3 miles away in Healdsburg that offers Spa packages.

  • Golf

When the men are at the Spa, the women can enjoy golf at one of the nearby courses. Northwood is an Alistair McKenzie little gem and listed in ‘USA Top 50’ 9 hole courses in America. Healdsburg has a 9 hole course and Windsor is the best public course in the area. Bodega Bay is also worth the drive for a beauty of a course on the Sonoma coast, (check it’s not too windy). If you happen to have membership at any of the local private courses enjoy and invite Scott.

  • Russian River Kayaking and Coast

One of our favorite day trips with friends is taking them to Burke’s Canoes in Forestville and kayaking down the Russian River to Monte Rio. The Sonoma Coast is also beautiful and rugged with great hikes around Jenner and Bodega Bay.
